Bracken Darrell steps down as Logitech chief
Computer accessories maker Logitech CEO and President Bracken Darrell has resigned. He is leaving the company to take a new opportunity. The company's share price fell on Wednesday after his announcement.
Darrell, who took over as CEO in 2013, will stay with Logitech until a new CEO takes over in the next few months. However, board member Guy Geach will serve as interim CEO during this time.
Shares of Logitech fell 8.6 percent in early trading on Wednesday.
Bracken Darrell was a Logitech spokesperson. As a result, his departure will affect investor sentiment and put the company under short-term pressure. We expect that there will be no strategic change' - says Vontobel analyst Michael Foeth.
